Privacy Notice

Action required before public launch: replace the placeholder publisher details below with the real legal entity and contact email for Hero Line Wars.

This page explains what information is collected when visitors register interest in the Hero Line Wars alpha and why that information is collected.

What we collect

When you sign up through the alpha form, we collect the email address and consent choice you submit. Page views are counted anonymously, as described under Visitor statistics.

Why we collect it

We collect this data to send game development updates, information about possible alpha participation, Steam page announcements and other major Hero Line Wars news, based on your consent.

How the form is processed

The website uses Netlify Forms to process and store form submissions. Review Netlify’s data processing and storage terms as part of your final publishing review.

Visitor statistics

To see how many people visit the site, each page view is counted without cookies and without storing anything on your device. We record the page, the date, your country (looked up from your IP address), the website that linked to you, and a daily visitor code. The code is a one-way hash of your IP address and browser identifier combined with a random value that is replaced every day and then deleted, so visits can be counted per day but not followed from one day to the next. Your IP address itself is not stored. The counts are kept with Netlify (Netlify Blobs) and are used only for aggregate statistics.

How long we keep your data

We keep submitted data until consent is withdrawn, the mailing list is discontinued or deletion is otherwise required by applicable law.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion or withdrawal of consent at any time by contacting the publisher.
